Certified Nursery Professionals-NCN

The Nebraska Certified Nurserymen program was established to promote the professionalism of individuals within our industry. A rigorous three part test, which covers plant identification, landscape, and the NCN manual, must be successfully completed. NCN testing takes place at least once a year. Manuals may be purchased through the NNLA office (402) 761-2216 or by using this form.

To retain the NCN status, 5.0 hours of continuing education must be completed every year. Renewal notices are sent out in the fall. Continuing education includes attendance at the NNLA Winter Conference, Nebraska Eastern Summer Field Day, Nebraska Western Summer Field Day, NNLA Workshops, the Western Conference or other national events.
