Gardens Transformed

LINCOLN— Landscape architect Sandra Youssef Clinton will present the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum’s Young Lecture Nov. 10 in Lincoln. Passing of Dr. Jay Fitzgerald

The nursery industry lost a great man last week. Dr. Jay Fitzgerald was an Emeritus Professor at UNL, specializing in ornamental horticulture, landscape ecology and design. He was also the statewide floriculturist and appeared many times on the Backyard Farmer program. Jay was the initiator and wrote the test for NNLA’s Nebraska Certified Nurseryman program.
