The Nebraska Nursery and Landscape Association mission is: “To advance the nursery and landscape industry by providing opportunities for networking, education, advocacy and certification to industry professionals for the purpose of collectively growing their businesses”

The NNLA strives to promote certified professionals and the growth of horticulture in Nebraska.

The Nebraska Association of Nurseryman was established in 1925 to represent the Nebraska Nursery Industry. The nursery and landscape industry has grown a great deal over the years and the group is now the Nebraska Nursery and Landscape Association.

The NNLA has grown to serve members across the state as well as many members outside the borders of Nebraska. Our members consist of retail garden centers, growers, landscape designers and contractors, landscape management firms and consultants, industry suppliers, college faculty, arborists, turf specialists and certified nursery and landscape professionals.

Nebraska’s top industry professionals lead the organization by volunteering on the board of directors and committees and by serving as advisors. These volunteers work to provide education, legislative involvement and certification programs for the industry as well as other member benefits.  NNLA members also participate in community projects.

The NNLA sponsors a Winter Conference, a Summer Field Day, training and certification for the Nebraska Certified Nursery and Landscape Professional program, a newsletter, and student scholarships.

After entering the work field I found the value and importance of increased involvement within the industry and fellow peers.
